Registration requirements

Registrant: In order to register a .EG domain name, the Registrant must be a legal entity and own a registered trademark covering the Egyptian territory (Documents will be requested). Generic terms are not allowed : the domain name must have a link with the Registrant (company name, trademark). The Registry reserves the right to deny the registration. Administrative contact: Due to the complexity, we accept only domain name registrations using our local contact service for the administrative contact (which is free of charge for this extension).
